This month’s featured video is an interview with Joe Cross, creator of the life-changing documentary Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead.

How many people are feeling fat, sick and nearly dead on a daily basis? They are looking for answers that the food industry just isn’t answering.  They are caught in the marketing hype of low fat, no sugar added, 100 calorie snacks and foods that are nutrient deficient and are contributing to the poor state of health many are facing.

Time For Action - ClockIn his interview, Joe Cross discusses his journey to better health. He claims that his journey is still a work in progress and is not expected to be perfect. He also talks about feeling like he has enabled himself to choose what foods he fuels his body with. When he does choose to eat a cheeseburger or some other not so healthy food he owns his decision and eats guilt-free because he knows that his next meal will include more healthy choices.

Joe also presents the principle of “rebooting” in his documentary. Joe uses juicing as a means to reboot the body.  The message I hope our viewers take from this documentary is not that juicing is the only means to reboot your body.  There are many ways to start to make improvements to your lifestyle and your health.  Maybe it is including fresh juices to increase your nutrient intake, or maybe it is exercising, or maybe it is taking care of yourself on an emotional or spiritual level.  The way you reboot your body is not important. What’s important is that you have a method to get yourself back on track when you start to veer off of the path you should/would like to be on.

Make use of the suggestions we make on our daily blog and share your “reboot” methods below in our comments.
