What is your internal dialogue saying? What has become the internal “record player” of your subconscious mind that informs your consciousness? What do you “listen to” inside of your mind all day?
Many people experience thoughts of not being good enough, feeling judged, feeling unworthy, unheard and even unloved. But in reality, many times this pattern has been developed through several isolated experiences throughout life, and the subconscious has held onto these unhealed circumstances. This continues to inform you of un-truths in present day and affects every aspect of your life.
Let’s take a few minutes to re-write the story that plays in your mind. We must over-ride the conversation, because the majority of the storyline is fear-based. You may just have the same old story accidentally stuck on repeat, and you’ve never taken a minute to really question those old words. Chances are, they are no longer true (or never were!) and you now have the conscious ability to press EJECT (on the tape cassette) or DELETE (if you’re digital!!)
5 Truths you need to hear EVERY Day! (Okay, 6!)
You are enough. You always have been. It’s time to realize that everything you do is amazing, but it’s about BE-ing. Your being, your very existence is enough.
You are so loved. Not just by your children, your significant other, your family, your friends, your co-workers, your neighbours but by the ENTIRE UNIVERSE. And, your SELF.
You are more valuable than you realize. Every day you touch the lives of so many in numerous, precious ways. Begin to notice your own compassion, empathy and generosity in exchanges with others, and appreciate yourself how others do.
You are needed. Not just in a physical way, as in “Mom, I’m hungry!!” But in a way that the universe has placed you here right now for specific reasons that we may not fully understand or be aware of yet. Your very existence is on purpose!
You are so beautiful and shine with love. Your energy is a gift to others, and your inner spirit glows from your human body and illuminates the world with your love.
You are worthy of abundance, health and love. Accept the good things into your life. Open to them, as they are waiting to appear. And they are most likely to appear when you are in APPRECIATION of yourself and in LOVE with yourself!
Now it’s time to write your very own love letter to your SELF. Write to your inner spirit, that powerful person inside that may have forgotten how amazing you are. Tell yourself all of the things you love about YOU! Tell YOU how strong and beautiful you are. Tell YOU how you are smart, gifted and compassionate. Make a list of your skills, strengths and successes to prove to yourself that you have valuable assets. (And if you have trouble getting started, copy down the list above to get you going!)
BUT remember that this love letter is only a stepping stone to switch the dialogue in your mind into something more positive, to live with on a daily basis. Because you are ALREADY PERFECT exactly how you are!! You just need to realize it.
