A few years back while on vacation in Mexico I took a 15 minute Salsa Dancing lesson and I’ve never looked back. That day I found a new way of expressing myself and as I stepped out of my comfort zone I found something that I was passionate about and that fed my soul. Dancing brings a smile to my face and I can’t help but dance anytime I hear a rhythm that inspires me.
Being in the 9-5 work day routine can make it difficult to find time in the week to devote to yourself. However, in order to maintain a healthy work/personal life balance we also need to feed our souls. I want you to think about when was the last time you did something that brought you pure joy and happiness? Do you know what your passion is? Do you make time to enjoy that passion?
Whatever your passion is, do it. Feed your soul. Allow yourself to grow in ways you never imagined. Live life to the fullest and don’t be afraid to try something new…you just might find your passion.
